The latest release on Numbers is a sought-after track from Denis Sulta.

It’s Only Real has been creeping into mixes and sets for months now, cited by fans as one of the biggest tracks of the year. Strong enough to need no B-side, it’s been pressed on a ltd single-sided 12″ and is currently being played out by the likes of Joy O, Four Tet & Kowton – to name just a few.

First gaining an insight into dance music whilst working in legendary Glasgow record store Rubadub, Denis Sulta (real name Hector Barbour) has become one of Glasgow’s hottest new prospects in little over a year, releasing two excellent twelves on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams before coming to Numbers for their final record of the year.

In the label’s own words Denis is part of “a new wave of Glaswegian artists who are doing amazing things” in the worlds of house & techno. He joins Koreless, Detroit’s Jay Daniel, Mike Servito and honcho Jackmaster this Saturday at Numbers LDN: Return To The Warehouse.
