Frequent collaborators Sam Binga & Chimpo have been back in the studio together, releasing a new EP on Critical Music offshoot Systems.

For Those Who Like It Sweet is the seventh in the catalog of Kasra’s expertly created Systems series, which follows the applauded Modulations that ran from 2010 – 2013. Like Modulations the sublabel contains a “chain of musical links” that “stand tall on (their) own but also as part of the Critical family”. To date it’s housed music from Halogenix, Fre4knc, Klax, Signal, Redders and now the two Mancunians Sam Binga & Chimpo.

The EP contains one track from each of the solo producers, Chimpo’s War Tanker and Binga’s Drank respectively, as well as three collaborative tracks from the pair, who’re easily two of the most exciting bass music producers on the UK scene right now. As usual, the release is available on a limited 12” transparent purple / violet vinyl, and can also be purchased with a limited edition Critical x Bowlcut Garms ‘Binga Chimplets’ t-shirt.
