News | The North Face | ‘Unlimited’ Collection
Outdoor specialists The North Face continue to explore the realms of urban fashion with the ‘Unlimited’ collection.
‘Unlimited’ is yet another by-product of The North Face’s partnership with GOLDWIN INC., who handle their interests in Japan and South Korea. Their work with nanamica mastermind Eiichiro Homma has already produced the highly-covetable Purple Label offshoot.
Their new collection is split into two seperate lines; ‘Departure’ suited for getting the modern city-dweller from A to B, and ‘Shelter’ ready to provide function and protection in whatever weather conditions you may find on the street.
In contrast to Purple Label’s use of prints, checks and camouflage, the Unlimited collection sticks to neutral tones with pieces in black, white and grey – with a splash of navy and olive for good measure.
Standout pieces for this new project include the WS Brooks Range parka, a beautiful down cardigan and a series of smart, waterproof trousers.
As it to be expected, the new products make fine use of The North Face’s world-class technical materials such as HYVENT waterproof fabric and heat-insulating photo electron down.
The North Face’s ‘Unlimited’ line is rolling out to the Japanese markets now, with no word of whether it’ll reach us yet. Look out for it dropping closer to home soon.
