There are no other rules other than we have to feature a new style each week, this week The Drop Date have chosen: The “Adidas Originals x United Arrows ZX500 OG AU” and here is what they’ve got to say about it:

“”If you purely went on the description of ‘white and green adidas’, it doesn’t sound that remarkable. This Adidas Originals x United Arrows zx500 OG AU needs to be seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated. As part of the Japan Pack series, which also features nice collaborative models from ZOZOTOWN with the Campus 80s and the X-Large Superstar 80s, this take on the ZX 500 is extremely clean.

The ZX 500 might have originally been released in 1984 but it’s still just as relevant almost 30 years later. It’s one of a number of ‘safe’ models to pick for adidas collaborations (HUF’s pinstripe version for the aZX project was amazing and the Olympic ‘Your Story’ series featured a fantastic all-suede version by Shaniqwa Jarvis), as there’s little anyone could do to lessen the appeal: the 500 has a good shape and lots of interesting panel sections, which has resulted in some great colourways over the years. Take a proper look through the adidas archives and you’ll see plenty of ZX 500 eye candy.””
