Trainer of the Week | The ASICS GT-II

We’ve teamed up with online store Wellgosh to provide you with their current favourite “Trainer Of The Week” to feature on our blog and in our weekly newsletter.  There are no other rules other than we have to feature a new style each week and give us a little description of why it’s their “Trainer Of The Week.” This week Wellgosh have chosen the: ASICS GT-II

This week’s trainer of choice is brought to you from Japanese running brand Asics. Whilst the Asics Gel Series has always had a strong following, recent years and recent collaboration projects have seen/caused their popularity to soar. The GT-II is no different; crafted on the original silhouette and executed here in a vivid purple/black/pink/white colourway, it has stirred up quite a storm on some of the major fashion sites (highsnobiety / hypebeast). This GT-II combines a purple suede upper with black mesh accents on the toe box and is executed on a Gel cushioned sole unit to give the kind of comfort and durability essential for a long distance runner. Available now at select retailers including Wellgosh, we don’t expect the GT-II to stay on the shelf for too long. Watch this space for more from the Japanese running giants!
