Vanilla Ace – ‘Down’ – Maquina Music

After yet another successful release with ‘Hypnotic’ on Toolroom Records, Vanilla Ace wastes no time, following up with ‘Down’ for the ever popular and established Maquina Music imprint, which is run by ThreeSixty, Rich Harris & Mark Stacey.

‘Down’ takes matters deeper with an infectious groove, which assists a catchy soulful vocal, taking you along gently for this funky number. ‘Down’ shows again Vanilla Ace’s ability to switch things up musically, while keeping his charm and tight productions skills, found in his previous efforts.Electronic Youth takes up the remix duties here, doing justice to the original and gaining support from Skream & Benga, who recently featured it on their BBC Radio 1 Show.
