This week’s ‘Trainer of the Week’ is the Asics GT-Cool appearing in Camo Olive/Off White which drops alongside the Asics GT-Cool in Camo Navy/Soft Grey; making up the Asics GT-Cool ‘Camo’ Pack. The two iterations of the retro runner in this Fall Pack appear in varying shades of camouflage; the Olive instalment features a prominent camo pattern printed across the underlay panels, whilst the Navy rendition features amore reserved palette featuring the camo print solely applied to the lining.
Originally release in 1991 the GT-Cool is a classically iconic functional running silhouette that features the same split tongue design as the Gel-Lyte III, and features a comfortable and breathable nylon mesh upper, a padded tongue and collar, external heel counter, Gel cushioning in the heel and a durable rubber outsole.
This rendition of the GT-Cool appearing in an olive and off white palette, features camo printed, breezy, nylon mesh underlays, overlaid with tonal premium suede panels around the toe-box, sidewalls and heel, a 3M accented on the heel above the tonal embroidered branding, off-white leather quarter branding accenting the upper and the signature split tongue construction; to eliminate tongue slippage and offer maximum comfort. Below the premium upper panels appears a gel cushioned midsole for support and comfort tied together with a grippy rubber outsole for added traction and durability.
The Asics GT-Cool in Camo Olive/Off White is now available alongside the Asics GT-Cool in Camo Navy/Soft Grey at Wellgosh. The two renditions of the GT-Cool are available as part of the GT-Cool ‘Camo’ Pack, RRP £99.95, and are now available in limited numbers.
