Chris Lorenzo’s released his first full-length album Destroy The Image.

The Birmingham producer has pioneered a fusion of styles including jackin’ house, bassline and UKG into what’s often being referred to as bass house, releasing on Food Music, Dirtybird and Night Bass in the process. Chris’ debut album is self-released on his newly inaugurated label Sixty6Music, containing 12 original tracks with features from bass music pioneer DJ Zinc, Chris Lake, Katy B (whose vocalled track I Wanna Be also appeared on Katy’s Honey project back in April), as well as vocalists Sam Nicolosi and Alex Mills.

Destroy The Image really shows off Lorenzo’s production abilities, where you’re just as likely to find yourself humming the euphoric piano riffs as you are the dirty basslines. The album harks back to Zinc’s crack house era on Purple Toe, delves into UK Funky on Bad Bitch and soundtracks the afterparty with extended skit Spliff Break.
