Dusky‘s next release on their label 17 Steps Recordings comes as two very different house productions that stray away slightly from the bassy garage-tinged sounds they’ve managed to become so well known for. The result is a fresh and diverse 12″ from the talented duo that nails both the uplifting and deep vibes they were going for on each track respectively.

The A-side Yoohoo is an upbeat tune that whilst definitely taking oldschool 90s piano house as an inspiration, comes correct with Dusky’s modern production finesse & clarity.

The B-side Akebono is a deeper affair. Taking it’s name from the Japanese word for dawn, this one is a driving foot-stomper perfect to bring the rave into the daylight hours.
