News | The North Face Purple Label | AW15 Lookbook
The North Face’s ultra high quality, ultra trendy, Japan exclusive Purple Label present their latest lookbook.
Designed by Eichiro Homma of Japanese outerwear label Nanamica, the Purple Label embodies The North Face’s core values of functionality, durability and technical innovation whilst boasting slimmer, more tailored and sometimes avant-garde silhouettes.
Their contemporary cuts and understated details coupled with the exclusivity of the imprint have made Purple Label pieces highly sought-after the world over. Homma’s updates on classic military and utilitarian garments have been executed with the utmost skill.
This season’s collection keeps it simple and predominately features a mix of greens, cool greys and deep navy blue pieces, finished off with the odd bit of camo or check.
Highlights include down gilets, quilted jackets and sweats, woolen hats and scarves, and a set of Cordura ripstop nylon luggage, featuring the light weight Tellus, light weight 2Way Bag and shoulder bag models, all with the eponymous Purple Label.
Further pushing the label’s marriage of style and function, the pieces often feature The North Face’s patented materials, such as COOLMAX knit technology in hats and socks, and WINDSTOPPER and ALPHADRY technologies in jackets and parkas.
North Face Purple Label is available exclusively in Japan. Pick it up now via Nanamica.
