We’ve teamed up with online store Wellgosh to provide you with their current favourite “Trainer Of The Week” to feature on our blog and in our weekly newsletter.  There are no other rules other than we have to feature a new style each week and give a description of why it’s their “Trainer Of The Week”. This week’s ‘Trainer Of The Week’ is the Nike Air Max 90-2014 Leather Quickstrike, appearing in the iconic ‘Infrared’ colour-way.  The updated Nike Air Max 90 is one of Nike’s standout Quick Strike release for Spring/Summer 2014. Nike continue to re-release and update classic running silhouettes this year, the Nike Air Max 90-2014 fuses the Air Max 90 and Air Max 2014, applying the original Nike Air Max 90 colour-way to this hybrid silhouette.    This updated 2014 release includes many of the aesthetic elements of the OG Max 90 silhouette with updated materials and technology applied.

The upper is constructed using patent Nike Vac Tech technology, providing a clean seamless basis for the upper, with perforations worked onto the toe-box, ankle-collar and heel to provide functionality as a runner.  The silhouette retains the branding that appears on the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’; the shoe is accented with the traditional Infrared corrugated black and red panels appearing just below the lace-bed, Air Max red accent on the side of the Vac Tech upper and a Nike Air branded tab appearing on the heel.

The technically assembled upper sits on a fully exposed, full-length 360 Air Unit in red, finished with a black midsole accent, staying faithful to the OG ‘Infrared’ colourway. The two trainer styles that each represent an era of their own, are merged together as a hybrid sneaker for a very limited quickstrike release available at Quick Strike stockist wellgosh.com.
