News | Eats Everything | Girl Powder EP | Edible Records
Eats Everything marks a year of Edible Records with his first release on the label, the Girl Powder EP coming later this month.
The label Eats (real name Dan Pearce) set up with NRK’s Nick Harris has gone from strength to strength over the past year, putting out quality material from Lord Leopard, Lauren Lane, Jesse Perez, Brett Johnson and Rhythm Masters. The combined musical clout of the two Bristol natives has proven a winning combo, with Edible releases racking up high praise from across the scene.
2016 has been a big year for Dan’s own DJing career, seeing him mix the 86th edition of fabric’s esteemed series in February and performing as part of Jamie Jones’ Paradise residency at Ibiza superclub DC-10. His own releases have included collaborative 12″ The Duster with Green Velvet and the Big Discs EP on Catz N’ Dogz’ Pets Recordings.
The forthcoming Girl Powder EP contains 2 original tracks, the “energetic and funky” club cut Rita’s E, and Veronica Electronica, an altogether deeper affair laced with duetting vocals and rave sirens.
Girl Powder is out October 21st via Edible. Stream the title track from Eats Everything’s last EP below.
